WYPO (World Young Physicist Olympiad) is an international Physics competition held online for school and university students who love Physics.

The World Young Physicists Olympiad.
The competition is organized by the Organizing Center for STEM Olympiad (OCSO) – a non-profit organization dedicated to developing STEM education internationally.

From the proctored online National Round to the two-part International Round held in person in Bali, Indonesia.
National Round in Vietnam
100% online: candidates answer 20 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes, with online proctoring.

Who can take part?
Students from grade 7 to grade 12 and university students, competing across 3 levels matched to their grade group.

Can grade 7 students take part?
Yes. Grade 7, 8 and 9 students are in Level A. Level B is for grades 10–12 and Level C is for university students.
Can I register individually or must it be through a school?
You can register as an individual or as a school representative. The Guidebook requires each candidate to have a mentor teacher from a school or educational/tutoring organization.
What is the qualifier like?
The qualifier is online: 20 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes with Zoom proctoring.
What parts does the international round include?
The international round has two parts: Phase 1 is multiple choice (MCQ), Phase 2 is essay.
